Laura Acosta is a Senior Executive Coach and former Senior Leadership Team Leader who helps executives and high performing-teams become the best versions of themselves so they can lead with sincerity and deliver their best when it matters most. Combining over 15 years of senior leadership experience with a deep understanding of human behaviour, she works at the intersection of performance, confidence and wellbeing, helping people build ownership, authenticity and freedom from self-limiting beliefs.
Laura works with senior leaders navigating career transitions, increased responsibility and the pressures that come with high performance. She helps clients strengthen their confidence under pressure, communicate with confidence, navigate challenging conversations (especially around performance and feedback) and recognise the assumptions that may be holding them back. With a particular focus on leadership presence and personal agency, Laura enables individuals to approach their next challenge with greater self-awareness and the ability to act. Her work with teams and organisations centres on building psychological safety, strengthening accountability, creating shared purpose and developing resilient cultures where people can perform at their best. She also brings expertise in sustainable wellbeing, supporting people through stress, burnout, neurodiversity, grief or loss and significant life or career changes. Laura is able to help recognise and sensitively address wellbeing concerns before they become performance issues.
Laura holds an International Coaching Federation – Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential and is working towards her Professional Certified Coach credential (expected January 2027). Laura holds this alongside a Diploma in Performance Coaching with NLP, Gallup Clifton Strengths and DISC Leadership Team Coach accreditations. She also has trauma-informed Mental Health First Aid training. Laura brings more than nearly two decades of experience across professional services and education leadership. She has coached senior leaders as Head of Executive Team Coaching at Loch, led organisational wellbeing as a Designated Mental Health Lead, and managed teams of up to 13 across workload, performance and development at Accenture. Her academic foundation includes an MA from the University of Oxford and a Distinction-level MA in Human Resource Management. Her additional training in mindfulness, resilience and trauma-informed mental health support informs her holistic approach to leadership and performance.
Warm, perceptive and commercially grounded, Laura combines psychological insight with direct, practical challenge. She creates the space for honest reflection while encouraging clients to question limiting beliefs, recognise their strengths and turn new perspectives into meaningful action. Her approach balances empathy with accountability, helping people build the confidence to have difficult dialogue, make clearer decisions and work through uncertainty without losing sight of who they are. For Laura, her work is built around a simple belief: capability gets people to the table, but confidence, communication and composure under pressure determine whether others see them as ready for what’s next.
Laura works with individuals, teams and organisations through one-to-one senior and executive coaching, team and leadership coaching plus leadership development and wellbeing facilitation and training. Her work can support leaders stepping into new roles, teams looking to strengthen performance and collaboration and organisations seeking to create a healthier, more resilient environment. She also brings specialist expertise in CliftonStrengths and DISC profiling, helping individuals and teams better understand their natural talents, working styles and the differences that can make collaboration more effective.
