FOR ORGANISATIONS / TEAM WORKSHOPS / 2b ENERGY
You Don’t Need More Hours.
You Need More Energy.
Time Is Fixed. Energy Is Not.
There will always be another demand, deadline or decision competing for our attention. We cannot create more hours in the day, but we can become more deliberate about the energy we bring to them.
High performance cannot run on adrenaline alone. When pressure becomes constant and recovery disappears, concentration slips, patience shortens and decisions become reactive.
2b Energy helps participants recognise what fuels their performance, what drains it and how to balance effort with recovery building the capacity to perform consistently at work and beyond it.
What This Experience Delivers
2b Energy combines personal insight, practical tools and honest reflection. Participants examine how they are currently operating, identify the changes that would make the greatest difference and turn those changes into realistic rituals they can sustain.
Performance Framework
Four Dimensions Of Energy
Participants explore the physical, emotional, mental and purposeful energy behind sustainable performance. They identify how each dimension influences their capacity to focus, respond, connect, make decisions and deliver consistently.
Typical Format
Half or Full Day
Choose a focused four-hour workshop or a deeper eight-hour experience. Both formats are practical, interactive and adapted around the audience, organisational context and performance challenges.
Personal Insight
Your Energy Audit
Participants examine what currently fuels and drains them, when they naturally perform at their best and where they may be operating out of balance. This creates an honest starting point for meaningful change.
The Result
Rituals That Last
Every participant develops practical rituals for managing energy, attention, pressure and recovery. The emphasis is on realistic actions that can be repeated not ambitious plans that disappear after the workshop.
ENERGY IN ACTION

Energy, not time, is the fundamental currency of high performance.

From Good Intentions To Repeatable Rituals.
Knowing what to change is rarely the hardest part. Making that change last is where most people struggle. That is why 2b Energy focuses on rituals rather than resolutions. A ritual is a small, intentional action connected to a clear purpose and repeated consistently enough to become part of how someone operates.
Participants might develop rituals for beginning and ending the working day, protecting focused work, preparing for high-pressure moments, managing emotional triggers, recovering between demands or switching off after work. Each person leaves with a realistic energy plan, a design for a stronger working week and practical actions they can begin immediately.
The real outcome is greater ownership of how people direct, renew and protect the energy behind their performance.
Sustainable Performance Needs a Rhythm.
Sustainable performance is not about remaining at maximum intensity. It is about knowing when to apply effort, where to direct attention and how to recover well enough to go again. Pressure can sharpen focus and help people rise to an important moment, but performance suffers when every demand feels urgent and intensity becomes the default.
2b Energy helps participants recognise their pressure triggers, focus on what they can control and protect their attention for the work that matters most. They also explore the physical, mental, emotional and social recovery they need to perform consistently. Recovery is not a reward once the work is finished; it is part of what makes sustained performance possible.
The Four Dimensions of Energy.
01
Physical Energy
Physical energy is the foundation of our capacity to perform. Participants explore how movement, nutrition, sleep, rest and recovery influence stamina, concentration and the ability to sustain effort. The goal is not physical perfection. It is to understand the routines that help each person bring more consistent energy to their day.
02
Emotional Energy
Emotional energy affects how we experience pressure and how others experience us. Participants learn to recognise emotional triggers, regulate their responses and remain more grounded when demands increase. They explore how emotion influences behaviour, relationships, confidence and decision-making.
03
Mental Energy
Mental energy is our ability to direct attention towards what matters.
Participants examine the impact of distraction, constant switching and competing priorities. They develop practical ways to protect their attention, identify high-value work and create the conditions for deeper focus.
04
Purposeful Energy
Purposeful energy comes from meaning, values and a clear sense of direction.
Participants consider what matters most to them, how closely their actions reflect those priorities and what helps them stay motivated when work becomes demanding.
The four dimensions are closely connected. When one is depleted, the others often have to work harder to compensate.

When Energy Matters Most
2b Energy is particularly valuable for people working in demanding, fast-moving or high-pressure environments.
It can support leaders carrying significant responsibility, teams navigating growth or change, emerging leaders building sustainable habits and organisations experiencing challenges around capacity, focus or resilience.
The programme is equally relevant for people who are performing strongly but recognise that their current approach may not be sustainable.
No particular level of fitness or previous experience is required. 2b Energy is about managing human energy, not athletic performance.

Designed Around Your Organisation
Every 2b Energy experience is shaped around the people in the room and the environment in which they are working.
Before the workshop, we take time to understand the organisation’s context, current demands and desired outcomes. The experience can then be adapted around relevant themes such as sustained pressure, changing priorities, focus, resilience, leadership responsibility or team capacity.
Delivery combines facilitated discussion, personal reflection, practical exercises, an individual energy audit and tools participants can apply immediately. The result is a programme that feels personal while remaining connected to the organisation’s wider performance ambitions.
Learn From People Who Understand High Performance.
Our facilitators understand that sustainable performance is personal. They create honest, energetic and practical experiences that connect new insight to the realities of participants’ work and lives.
The result is not another list of things people believe they “should” be doing. It is a clearer understanding of what works for them and how to make it part of the way they perform.
Faculty can include
Make Energy Part Of How Your Team Performs.
2b Energy can be delivered as a standalone experience or become part of a wider leadership, talent or team-development programme. Organisations can build on the workshop through coaching, accountability sessions, team check-ins, shared performance rituals and regular progress reviews. It also connects naturally with strengths development, LeaderCoach, executive coaching and broader organisational programmes.
Together, these experiences help sustainable performance become more than an individual intention. They make it part of how the organisation leads, works and performs.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
2b Energy is a practical half- or full-day workshop focused on energy management and sustainable high performance. Participants explore the physical, emotional, mental and purposeful energy behind their performance, identify what currently fuels or drains them and develop practical rituals for working and living more intentionally.
Wellbeing is an important part of the conversation, but 2b Energy is fundamentally a high-performance programme. It connects personal energy to focus, decision-making, emotional regulation, relationships, resilience and the ability to deliver consistently. It is not simply about feeling better. It is about understanding what enables people to perform at their best and sustain it.
Time is finite, but the quality of energy people bring to their available time can vary significantly. Energy management encourages people to consider not only what they are doing, but when and how they are doing it. This leads to better decisions about attention, effort, priorities and recovery.
Physical energy is the capacity supported by movement, nutrition, sleep, rest and recovery. Emotional energy is the quality of emotion brought to situations and relationships. Mental energy is the ability to focus and think clearly. Purposeful energy is the motivation created by meaning, values and direction.
The four dimensions are connected, and a change in one can influence the others.
The energy audit is a practical reflection that helps participants identify their current sources of energy, common drains, performance patterns and areas requiring greater attention. It creates a clear starting point for choosing the actions and rituals most likely to make a meaningful difference.
The half-day workshop provides a focused introduction to energy management, the four dimensions of energy and practical performance rituals.
The full-day experience allows for deeper reflection and application, including more detailed exploration of pressure, focus, emotional regulation, recovery, purposeful energy and personal action planning.
No. 2b Energy is not a fitness workshop, and participants do not need any particular level of physical ability. Movement and physical energy are explored as part of the wider performance framework, but the experience is accessible and adapted to the group.
Yes. 2b Energy can be adapted around your organisational context, culture, performance expectations and current challenges. It can be delivered in person or virtually. For virtual delivery, the discussions and exercises are designed to keep the experience personal, engaging and interactive.
Participants leave with a clearer understanding of their energy and performance patterns, practical tools for managing pressure, attention and recovery, and personalised rituals they can begin using immediately. They also create an individual energy plan that connects insight to the realities of their working week.
The workshop concludes with practical action planning focused on realistic, repeatable rituals. 2b Energy can also be supported by coaching, accountability conversations, team check-ins and progress reviews, or incorporated into a wider leadership, talent or organisational-development programme.
