Matt is a senior executive leader, business builder and accredited coach who has spent more than two decades building organisations where people, performance and purpose move together. With a career spanning technology, operations, strategy and leadership, he brings a unique blend of commercial insight, practical experience and people-centred coaching to every conversation.
As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer at Online Education Services (OES), Matt has played a pivotal role in shaping one of Australasia’s leading online higher education enablement businesses. As one of the company’s four founders, he helped guide OES from an early-stage venture backed by A$10 million in seed capital to an international organisation supporting more than 16,000 students across six university partners in Australia and the UK, with subsidiaries extending into the UK and US. In 2021, OES transferred to the SEEK Investment Fund at an effective valuation of A$525 million.
Matt has held senior roles with organisations including SEEK, Coles Myer, ABN AMRO Investment Bank, PwC in the United States and investment banking firms in the United Kingdom. This breadth of experience gives him a rare perspective on leading through start-up, growth and enterprise contexts, while working across multiple industries, markets and cultures.

Having helped build award-winning workplace cultures recognised through the Hewitt Best of the Best Employer awards, he understands that lasting success is shaped by focus, trust, commitment and the everyday experiences people have at work.
