With more than 18 years operating at the highest levels of international hockey, he has led South African teams through five Hockey World Cups, the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and the Birmingham Commonwealth Games. As former Head Coach of the South African Men’s Hockey Team, he was also nominated for the International Hockey Federation Coach of the Year in 2022.
Garreth’s experience competing and leading in high-pressure, high-performance environments gives him a deep understanding of what it takes to perform when expectations are high and the stakes matter. He brings this perspective into every coaching engagement, helping leaders develop the self-awareness, intentional leadership and consistent impact needed to excel in complex environments.
A 2b Limitless Accredited Performance Coach and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Accredited Coach, Garreth works with clients across South Africa and internationally. His experience spans banking, financial services, legal, engineering, professional services and sports leadership. He has coached and facilitated for organisations including Red Bull, HSBC, First National Bank, Rand Merchant Bank, Nedbank, DLA Piper, Clyde & Co, Telkom, Cricket South Africa, Rowing South Africa and many others.
