Matt is a highly accomplished people leader and coach with extensive experience in creating and nurturing high performance, values based environments and developing people within these environments.
Matt is currently the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer of Online Education Services (OES), a higher education online enablement business based in Melbourne Australia.
Matt was one of 4 founding members of OES and has overseen its growth from a start up with seed capital of $A10m to a business delivering end to end online learning services for over 16,000 students across 6 University clients in Australia and the UK, with subsidiaries in the UK and US.
In September 2021, OES transferred to the SEEK Investment Fund at an effective valuation of $A525m.
Prior to OES, Matt worked at SEEK, Coles Myer and ABN AMRO Investment Bank in Australia, PwC in the USA and various investment banks in the UK.
Both OES and SEEK have won the Hewitt Best of the Best Employer award proving their commitment to setting up high performing, behaviourally optimised workplaces.
Over his executive career Matt has held functional leadership roles in Information Technology, Cyber Security and Privacy, Sales, Marketing and Operations, as well as Board and Audit and Risk Committee roles in various capacities.
Matt is an experienced and passionate Mentor/Coach who trained with 2b Limitless in 2024. In building coaching and mentoring relationships, he brings to bear his varied experience leading and coaching people in both start up and scaled organisations, across differing countries and cultures and varying industries to help people harness the power of their strengths and realise their true potential.
